Thursfield Primary School provides before and after school care in a welcoming, nurturing and inclusive environment. The Thursfield Den offers a safe, supportive and engaging space for all children who attend. Children are cared for by familiar, trusted adults and are encouraged to take part in a wide range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities.

Each week, The Thursfield Den follows a different theme, with creative activities, stories and hands-on experiences designed to inspire curiosity and imagination. Children at Thursfield Primary School are encouraged to explore new interests through interaction, reading opportunities and play-based learning within cosy and stimulating surroundings.

The Thursfield Den is a vibrant before and after-school hub where children can relax, have fun, build friendships and extend their learning beyond the classroom. Children also have opportunities to complete homework tasks, practise reading and spelling, or enjoy quiet time when needed.
